Abnormal Psychology – my professor is awesome. she has her own practice and she talks a lot about past cases. she seems like the kind of person i’d want as a psychologist. the only problem is everything we’ve learned so far is stuff i already know, like in the first class we defined abnormal and in the one after that we went over different perspectives…and we didn’t even learn half of what my high school teacher taught us. lol, i don’t even know.

English Literature – it is redundant to take this course for most people but i don’t care, i love reading classics and literature and poetry and improving my critical thinking. my prof is this old man who grew up speaking french, italian, and spanish and he’s like the quintessential gentleman. he looks like a bald version of the guy from up.

Theater – if this weren’t a core requirement, i would NEVER take this class. i find “art” appreciation classes pointless unless they are actually relevant to our majors…but i do like theater, and i’ve been to a lot of broadway shows, so it’s not totally boring. the professor is definitely gay though.

Communications – ugh, i really hate this class. public speaking makes me break out in a cold sweat. i literally have physical symptoms when i have to do it. my hands get sweaty, my heart races, and i shake. it’s horrible because psychologically i’m not that bothered by it, but when my body reacts the way it does i get really embarrassed and it’s just horrible.

Anthropology – the most boring class ever. i’m not going to knock anthropology because it is very useful, it’s just not interesting to me. i wish we didn’t have to take it. though i like reading ethnographies.

can’t wait for spring right now. i’m OBSESSED with chanel’s, mark fast’s and prada’s spring 2010 collections. craving: floaty white dresses, knee high socks, socks with sandals, brown heels/wedges, ruffles, floor length skirts/dresses, blazers, embellished gladiator flats, pastels, striped dresses and shirts, fun hats, lace, faded denim, and LOTS of jewelry. and i know everyone’s into the jade green chanel polish, but i’m more interested in something from the orange creamsicle family.

at this point of my life, i’m pretty tired of hamsters. pets i’m considering: a norwegian forest cat, australian shepherd, shi tzu, or chocolate labrador retriever. hmmmm~?

Been watching the Three Kings Saga since I finally got the DVDs over break! I’ve always thought YYH peaked at the Dark Tournament, and after watching these episodes I found that I was right. Chapter Black and Three Kings were NOT done well. I get that it was supposed to get the worlds a step closer to understanding each other, and that Yusuke needed a reason to quit the spirit detective gig…but the way it led up to these things was so implausible. Really, would Yomi and Mukuro give up their kingdoms to fight in a free-for-all battle for all of Demon World? I think it’s reasonable to assume that they wouldn’t risk losing what territory they did have, even if it meant being able to rule the other two territories as well. Plus I find it unlikely that they could regulate all the demons and prevent any human attacks since I’m sure there were plenty of demons who disagreed with the whole “don’t hurt humans” doctrine.

However, what I find most irritating about this saga is the inclusion of Mukuro. Her presence undermines all the other relationships Hiei built throughout the series. What I loved most about YYH was how the four guys began to trust and rely on each other due to the circumstances they were thrust into, and eventually became unlikely friends. Then Mukuro comes in, all hateful and lonely and sad, and all of a sudden the rest of them can go hang. He wasn’t even with them at the beach, for chrissake.

This saga’s epic fail aside, YYH is still my favorite anime ever. I’m just going to pretend it ended the way I wanted and not think about the other stuff.

I have no idea why I like Hiei the most, his personality is so creepy.

Despite Hiei/Mukuro shippers, the prevailing pairing in the fandom seems to be Hiei/Kurama. HA. HAHA.

As far as I know, this is the only time Hiei laughs freely in the series. I bet he never laughs like this with Mukuro. =P
